I was born in Istanbul and currently living and working in Istanbul. I graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and I received my MA degree in Sabanci University Visual Art and Visual Communication Design Department with her thesis “Visual Notes: Geographies that I have not lived in.” I have still continue her pHd at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. In my practice, I work with installation, site-specific installation/intervention, paintings and video. In my works, I is interested in socio-political issues in MY living geography – Turkey. Geography, housing, tracing and transformation of the spaces are the topics I focuses on. As well as architectural structures and changing perspectives, human sanctions on nature are the basic themas on my works.
